The key aim in Leadership Coaching is to help Leaders improve their understanding of their style of Leadership and the capabilities they need to develop to be more impactful as a Leader. Many Leadership Coaches have held Senior Leadership positions themselves which helps them ask insightful questions and probe for how a Leader can enhance their effectiveness. At FIREUP we use a range of tools to measure different aspects of a Leaders approach. This include measuring Emotional Intelligence, Thinking Preferences with HBDI, behavioural traits using LSI or DISC. Leadership Coaching has more impact if it is taken over a longer period of time and the coach also observes the Leader in meetings and performing their role and can give real time feedback about their performance.
