I am writing to support the reaccreditation of FIRE UP Coaching’s Diploma of Leadership, Coaching and Mentoring program, which I completed in July this year.
Having left the corporate world in 2011 to pursue a career in the wellness industry – more specifically in the area of mindset and leadership coaching – I was looking to improve my own skills and add a relevant qualification to my CV.
In undertaking this program, I not only gained an invaluable education that is already helping me bring a higher level of benefit to my clients, I also developed a much greater awareness of myself in a profound way that has brought about lasting change on both a personal and professional front.
The quality of teaching was evident from the outset and I was heartened by the personal engagement and passion of all those with whom I interacted.
With ever-increasing levels of pressure and workplace stress, the necessity of programs such as this, which aid in the development of healthy organisational cultures and employee wellbeing, is abundantly clear.
As such, I would not hesitate in recommending FIRE UP’s Diploma of Leadership, Coaching and Mentoring. Please contact me if I can assist with anything further in support of re-accreditation.

As my position as the CEO of Rodine Australia (commercial construction company based in Melbourne), I am often looking at professional development programs for myself and my team – which in turn delivers positive outcomes for Rodine Australia and its stakeholders.
Whilst perusing programs that provided content for Business Management, I noted that FIREUP Coaching had a differentiating factor of comprehensively addressing and developing true leadership skills. Leadership skills, and importantly implementation, are pivotal for business growth, sustainability, retention of team and innovation.
As the commercial construction industry has many on site and off site complexities, strong cohesive and inclusive leadership skills are a necessity to have a favorable project delivery for both internal and external clients.
With this in mind I participated in the FIREUP Coaching Diploma of Leadership Coaching and Mentoring (22233 VIC) in 2016.
I highly recommend this program as it provides a comprehensive and practical approach of emotional intelligence development, effective communication and a framework and knowledge on how to support your team to be dynamic innovative leaders within their divisions.
Since completing the program, I have gained more confidence and skills as a responsive leader which has been imperative for me to manage company growth and competitiveness in a difficult industry.
Should you have any questions or queries, please contact me on the below details.

Support for reaccreditation: Diploma of Leadership Coaching and Mentoring (22233VIC) I write in support of the reaccreditation of Fire Up Coaching’s Diploma of Leadership, Coaching and
Mentoring program. I am a lawyer and work in an international commercial law firm. I am reminded daily of the challenges faced by business leaders in developing productive organisational cultures, promoting greater employee engagement and getting the best out of teams who are under pressure to provide outstanding services to clients in increasingly difficult markets. The Diploma of Leadership, Coaching and Mentoring is an incredibly valuable program and qualification for commercial lawyers who are seeking to improve their own performance and the performance of others in this sector. It offers significant opportunities for personal and professional development and demonstrates value from the very first day of teaching. I am convinced that it will improve my ability to do my job, identify and pursue business opportunities, and improve my wellbeing. I recommend this program. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if I can assist with anything further in support of this reaccreditation.
I, Andre Obradovic, am a graduate of the FIREUP Coaching Diploma of Leadership Coaching and Mentoring (22233 VIC). This letter is in support of the valuable knowledge and skills that this qualification contributes to any person wanting to develop their ability to influence, inspire and lead others.
Prior to commencing the Diploma of Leadership Coaching and Mentoring I have held high level leadership positions with a number of large corporations such as Cisco and Samsung Electronics. I have seen first-hand the impact that great leadership has on organisational culture. I also understand the impact that poor leadership has and the impact on people’s wellbeing when an organisational culture is toxic. A qualification such as this Diploma ensures that leaders have the agility and adaptability to relate to any or person or situation they are presented with. The Diploma gives leaders the how to of creating a positive and engaging organisational culture.
As an International Coach Federation Accredited Coach Training Program (ICF ACTP) which requires a high level of rigour to achieve and maintain, this Diploma can be benchmarked as being of the highest quality and contributes to significant development of those who participate both personally and professionally.
Currently many organisations commit great effort to compliance and operational training and often neglect critical aspects of Leadership Development. This program is a unique combination of positive psychology, emotional intelligence, neuroscience and strength based philosophy that equips leaders to be effective in the complexity of the modern workplace. With a strong emphasis on application this program gives leaders the knowledge and skills to do thing differently and create great results.
My contact details are Andre Obradovic and my email (withheld) and I am happy to be contacted to verify the information in this letter of support.

Having recently completed qualifications in Business and Personal coaching at FIREUP, I wanted to communicate to you the changes to my leadership style, after learning the skills and methods of coaching at FIREUP.
My role is General Manager of an underground mining operation with 200 staff and around one hundred million dollars per annum turnover. I have 6 direct reports that I would normally meet with on weekly or fortnightly basis. Normally this process is an information gathering one, whereby any issues are communicated, or any changes to strategic direction from corporate are communicated back to them.
Since completing my qualifications I have changed my interaction with direct reports to be scheduled one hour sessions where I use the FIREUP coaching framework (REACH model) to explore with the person anything that is concerning them in the moment. This doesn’t only concern the workplace. have also invited other staff to have coaching sessions with me, after noticing that during our conversations they may benefit from coaching. This has resulted in people commencing university study to upskill, changes to health and wellbeing actions and other benefits.
Mandalay has always supported staff development and the “whole” person to being happy and healthy in their life, not just the workplace. The skills gained at FIREUP have allowed me to do this at a higher level than before. I haven’t mentioned any of the personal benefits I have gained from my qualification, they are even more substantial, and have improved the quality of my life beyond anything I would have imagined.
I would support my staff doing this qualification as part of their leadership training in the future.
