Key questions to make sure you get the best program
Are all accreditations equal?
Choosing a coaching program can be confusing because so many courses call themselves a Diploma. The way to make sure you are getting a Diploma that has been fully accredited with the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) is to ask the provider for their Registered Training Organisation (RTO) Code. Only RTO can issue an Accredited Diploma. Also check on www.training.gov.au to find the Diploma code to ensure that it is still a current qualification, e.g. our diploma https://training.gov.au/Training/Details/10714NAT

Is an NLP Practitioner Program equivalent to an Accredited Coaching program such as a Certificate IV or Diploma?
FIREUP became a Registered Training Organisation because there is no formal auditing required to deliver NLP programs and hence no quality control. This was confusing for potential students so we decided to incorporate our NLP knowledge and skills into the units of competency we developed for our Certificate IV in Business and Personal Coaching (10547NAT) . This guarantees you credibility and as every program must demonstrate continual improvement every 5 years and be reaccredited you can be assured it is current. Many NLP Practitioner Programs are still based on the original programs developed in the 1970s and 1980s and do not incorporate the latest neuroscience and developments. You don’t need to pass any quality control to issue an NLP Practitioner Certificate and the programs vary enormously in their length and depth. There is also no consistency in assessment which makes it hard to determine.By incorporating NLP into our accredited programs it gives students a guarantee of quality and a recognised qualification.
